As a snake owner, I created My Snake Pet to help others in their quest to become better snake owners, or to simply educate others about snakes. It is my hope that with more education, people will become less afraid of snakes, and stop killing so many of them. All information on this site is completely free.
To pay for the costs of running the site and to compensate for the time required to create and maintain it, I will sell a limited amount of advertising space. I will also post affiliate links to products I recommend. What this means is that whenever you buy a product through a link on my site, I will receive a small commission. Your cost will not increase, but I should warn you that I will definitely let my new-found riches go to my head.
Specifically, My Snake Pet is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. It is also a participant in Google’s Adsense program, which displays advertising on select pages.
